Our Philosophy
Rehabilitation Before Incarceration
The traditional response to an alleged offense often begins with confinement. Our program takes a different approach for individuals who meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
The program recognizes that a detention facility is fundamentally a custodial environment. While detention may serve important public-safety and legal purposes in appropriate cases, it is not necessarily designed to provide every participant with an environment focused on developing positive behaviors, practical skills, responsibility, and successful community reintegration.
Our model places eligible participants in the community under structured conditions while they work through a rehabilitation-focused program.
Rather than simply removing an individual from society, the program creates an opportunity to observe behavior in society while requiring accountability within society.
Participants Are Expected To Demonstrate That They Can
- Follow rules and conditions.
- Maintain responsible daily routines.
- Participate in required educational programming.
- Comply with electronic monitoring.
- Accept accountability for their actions.
- Apply skills learned through program classes.
- Make responsible decisions while living in the community.
Rehabilitation Is More Than a Classroom
We believe meaningful rehabilitation requires more than simply completing a course.
Our virtual classes are structured to provide participants with information and practical skills that can be applied outside the classroom. Participants have the opportunity to practice what they learn in their everyday lives and demonstrate whether those lessons are translating into responsible behavior.
The community itself becomes part of the learning environment.
A Different Approach to Pretrial Justice
Detention-Focused Approach
Confinement → disruption of daily life → limited community exposure → release
Our Rehabilitation-Focused Model
Eligibility → structured community release → electronic monitoring → education → real-world application → behavioral accountability
The purpose is not to ignore the legal process. The purpose is to create a structured opportunity for eligible individuals to address their behavior while the legal process continues, where permitted by law.
