The Program
What Participants Receive
The program is designed to provide eligible participants with access to its services at no cost to the participant, subject to the specific terms and conditions of enrollment.
1. Community-Based Participation
Eligible participants may have an opportunity to remain in the community rather than spending extended periods in a detention facility. This can allow participants to continue:
- Working
- Attending school
- Caring for children and family
- Maintaining housing
- Participating in community responsibilities
- Building positive routines
- Pursuing lawful and productive activities
2. Electronic Monitoring
Participants are required to wear an approved electronic monitoring device at all times as directed by the program and applicable release conditions.
Electronic monitoring provides an additional layer of supervision while the participant remains in the community. Participants are expected to comply with all monitoring requirements and immediately address any issues involving the monitoring equipment.
3. Mandatory Virtual Classes

Classes are delivered virtually through Zoom, making it possible for participants to attend assigned sessions from their mobile device or computer.
Participants are required to attend all virtual classes assigned to them.
The classes are designed to provide practical education and tools that participants can use in their daily lives. Depending on the participant’s assigned programming, educational topics may address areas such as:
- Motivation for Change
- Criminal Addictive Thinking
- Anger Management
- Decision-making
- Personal responsibility
- Communication
- Conflict resolution
- Life skills
- Goal setting
- Accountability
- Responsible behavior
- Consequences of choices
- Community responsibility
4. Real-World Application
Education becomes meaningful when participants can apply it.
Our program encourages participants to take the concepts introduced during virtual classes and apply them to real-life circumstances. This provides an opportunity to evaluate whether participants are developing the ability to make constructive decisions outside of a controlled classroom environment.
5. Behavioral Tracking & Accountability
The program’s community-based structure allows participant behavior and compliance to be monitored throughout participation. Rather than relying exclusively on what happens inside a detention environment, the program seeks to evaluate how participants conduct themselves while living in the community.
Relevant areas of accountability may include:
- Compliance with electronic monitoring.
- Attendance and participation in assigned classes.
- Compliance with program conditions.
- General participation and engagement.
- Demonstrated responsibility.
- Compliance with applicable release conditions.
